Career Webinar Series: Eight Experts Share Best Practices

The graduating college class of 2010, like the previous two graduating classes are facing a bleak job market. According to a 2009 survey from the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) only 19.7 percent of the 2009 graduates who applied for a job had one by the time they graduated. That’s in contrast to 51% in 2008!

On a more encouraging note, NACE’s spring 2010 survey reported employers planned to hire 5.3 percent more new college graduates than they did the previous year. However, the Class of 2011 is challenged to work harder and smarter to not only get the job they want, but a job period!

To help this year’s graduates get ready for their job search, Career Development Services and TalentMarks.com, a firm dedicated to providing Career Coaching to graduates and alumni, are offering eight (8) Webinars featuring authors and experts who will share how students can effectively organize their job search, plan their career, build a network, create their brand, develop killer resumes, and use LinkedIn and Facebook to get a job!
