What does CDS look like?

Walk-in hours are Monday - Friday, noon - 4 p.m., in 303 Martin Hall. Students who need 15-20 minutes to discuss resume and cover letter questions, how to start a job search process or what resources are available to assist in choosing a major should use this service. (Walk-in hours are also available in the Student Center on Mondays from noon - 2 p.m. Additionally, you will want to check the liaison page to see when walk-in hours are available in your college.)

Students who need to discuss things in more detail should call 844.4744 to schedule an appointment between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

Bring your ID to make checking in easier!

Professional and graduate student staff are excited to meet with you to help encourage you through the process of choosing a major/career or the job search process.

Our updated career library is not only a good place to utilize resources, but you are welcome to use it as a quiet place to study. Wireless internet is available.

Many students benefit from our group interpretation sessions where we review the results of the assessments and career inventories available on our website. Students needing a more in depth review are able to schedule a one-on-one after the session.

Our on-campus recruiting services and facilities are high-end and bring in some of the strongest companies, from a wide array of industries, in the Southeast. Professional business attire is required, and you will want to have your student ID to check-in. To see a list of employers who recruit on campus during the fall and spring recruiting seasons, visit Tiger Recruiting Link (TRL). We also provide mock interviews to help our students be as competitive as possible when they face actual interviews. InterviewStream is another interview preparation resource, and it is available on TRL.
