Student Perspective: CareerShift

All too often this time of year, I hear of recent graduates, and those swiftly approaching graduation, becoming worried that they cannot find a job or internship that lines up with their career interests. Career Development Services (CDS) has a resource located on Tiger Recruiting Link (TRL) that can help relieve some of the stress that comes from job searching. It is called CareerShift and can help you:
  • identify available jobs/internships by geographic location.
  • research a wealth of information on specific companies that meet your interest areas.
  • find contact information on leaders with your companies of interest (including a search by Auburn University...use that network!)
This free resource is available to all Auburn University students and alumni. For tips on maximizing this resource, I encourage you to visit CDS. Summer walk-in hours are M-Th (Noon-4pm), and F (Noon-2pm). Start a proactive job search PRIOR to graduation!

Good luck in your search, and WAR EAGLE!
