Majors Fair: “Just Your Cup of Tea”

Career Development Services (CDS) will hold a majors fair, Wednesday, February 16, from 10:00am to 2:00pm in the Student Center Ballroom.  The fair, entitled, “Just Your Cup of Tea”, encourages students to find how their passions can be developed through the various majors and programs offered at Auburn. Representatives from University colleges and schools will be available to talk with interested students. Career Development Services staff will also be on site to help students with career and major direction if needed.

Students should take advantage of the time at the Majors Fair to really assess their interests, talents, passions, and work values to help them find the major that is a fit for them. CDS staff will be available to discuss additional career planning tools available to students through their office: assessments, one-on-one career counseling, major and career research resources, etc. Many resources can be found at www.auburn.edu/career and others are available in the office, 303 Martin Hall.

In addition, Career Development Services provides a variety of job search resources to Auburn students including resume writing, mock interviews, and finding applicable internships and job opportunities. The office is open from 7:45am to 4:45pm, with walk-in hours from noon to 4:00pm. Additional walk-in hours are available in the Student Center and colleges throughout the week. Check the website for a detailed schedule. And remember, Career Development Services strives to make your career our mission.
